I've started to take my interest in religion and consciousness seriously after returning from a trip to the South of India, where I worked with street kids for half a year.  The spiritual experiences I had in this country (it's hard not to have one there… where spirituality is just in the air!) alivened the insights I remembered from childhood; a deep and inner knowing that the reason for being alive is MUCH BIGGER than I can imagine with my rational mind.

When I met Andrew Cohen in 2001 I became aware of an interest in evolving consciousness beyond intellectual understanding and (what a change!) a way to deal with these matters for real….

I'm incredibly grateful for having met so many great people these last years who are also interested in making a change in the world by being the change. Our journey is thrilling and ever evolving, finding deepers layers of intimacy as we develop and become more conscious.

I'm involved with EnlightenNext (founded by spiritual teacher Andrew Cohen) and help with running a center here in Amsterdam. As a student of Evolutionary Enlightenment I'm partaking in a global body of evolutionaries. Technology is helping us a great deal to come together in for instance phonecalls where recently even 200 of us met and explored our next steps in consciousness!
As volunteer and in my paid job I've worked & still work with and for people who are less privileged in our society. What inspires me and what I look for in my job is to use my capabilities for making this place look a little better…
